The hypnotic allure of Italian Roast coffee

13 Apr

Trader Joe’s always has the coffee on.

There are many beans to choose from at Trader Joe’s, and only one industrial-sized grinder.  I’m a French Roast aficionado and long for TJ’s version when it’s not near. However…

The Italian Roast will tide me over nicely. Very nicely. Bold flavor; rich aroma. The bouquet that takes you back to the old country, you can almost hear hooves clopping on cobble stones, feel the ocean breeze from the Aegean cliffs, gaze skyward and see the cobwebs collecting in the corners of your ceiling…but you couldn’t care less.

Each sip is so inspiring, it will release the hackneyed advertising copywriter inside of you, as your brain reels with cheesy metaphor and clichéd imagery.

Ah, molto bene to the last drop!

Thank you, TJ’s!

Thanks for the coffee review! I recently moved to California from state without Trader Joe’s (the horrors! 😉 ) and am pretty sure my head exploded the first time I was there! I have yet to try their coffee but now I must! I’m all about French Roast too. Thanks for blogging about that wonderful place!
