When I lived in Los Angeles, Trader Joe’s carried a tray of cooked chicken tidbits named, “Just Chicken.” There was also, “Just Teriyaki Chicken,” but I just wanted “just chicken,” and that’s what I got.
It was perfect for a quick snack, a breakfast protein, and it was an easy way to beef up (so to speak) a dish of pasta.
Now, at the Kansas City TJ’s, we have “Grilled Chicken Breast Strips.” They’re not cut into bite-sized chunks, but I’ve adapted.
And I highly recommend my forever fave for its ease of use, its yummy grilled flavor and its ‘just chicken-ness.’
