We’ll keep this short and sweet for your Friday musing and weekend cooking plans.
A friend calls. She’s coming over in a couple of hours. Autumn winds are blowing and the temperature’s dropped to heavy coat conditions. You want to welcome your friend with the smell of baked goods in the air and the taste of moist, gooey chocolate not far behind, but you have a million things to do.
Enter Trader Joe’s Chocolate Peppermint Loaf Mix.
It’s easy, it’s good and it will last a few days, too, if there’s any left. Day four, pop a slice in the microwave for 30 seconds and it’s freshly baked all over again.
Thanks, TJ’s.

Love this…wish it was offered longer, say into the Christmas season.
I agree! And a chocolate peppermint cake seems like a natural Christmas treat.
There are so many fantastic seasonal items at TJ’s. But, finally accepting that, it also gives me something to look forward to! : )
Thanks for visiting the blog and for your comment, Brenda!
